crisis
out of the crisis of capitalism, or out of the crisis of capitalism in Samir Amin
This book does not begin recalling as it developed financial crisis (you can find excellent presentations elsewhere), but what are the origins, causes the make fatal (predictable and properly supported by some) that I have found the transition to capitalism and imperialism oligopolies generalized collective, and not in expansion of credit (and therefore does not cause).
followed by two chapters devoted to a reading of capitalism in the long term. Beginning with a reminder of the diversity of responses to the growing contradictions of the old systems breach that opened here and there (by contrast, the Europe-Mediterranean-Middle East and the Chinese world). Then a presentation of historical capitalism (Atlantic) is intended to establish itself as the final form of the response, based on its most important feature: the accumulation for expropriation. The contrast between center and periphery generated from this form of accumulation in capitalism permanent historical town in turn determines the dominant contradiction that accompanies capitalism in its development and on that basis, the struggles waged by his victims. The struggle of the peoples of the suburbs has led to the first wave (in the twentieth century) and probably for the same reasons lead to a second wave in the XXI century.
The reference to the progress and setbacks recorded by the struggle for the emancipation of workers and peoples in the twentieth century (but only a booster) is required now more than ever, at the dawn of the possible opening of a second wave of those fights.
Nel capitolo dedicato a questa materia tento di dimostrare come e perché il discorso “umanista” proposed and accepted by most of the left who are now excluded from its considerations, the comparison with this challenge. The last chapter of Marx and Marxism, Communism, and internationalism. Marx has never been so useful and necessary to understand and transform the world, and today more than yesterday.
